Schell Dental Ceramics offers expert support and training on the top three Intraoral Scanners on the market today, the 3Shape Trios, Sirona Omnicam and the Carestream CS 3600.
We accept digital files from all Intraoral Scanners on the market and facilitate a digital workflow for crown and bridge, implant retained products and coming soon – milled digital dentures.

HOW TO SEND US A DIGITAL IMPRESSION:
3Shape Trios
Create an account at the 3Shape Communicate Portal.
Accounts can be created by the licence holder or an associate.
Login and click CONNECTIONS, ADD A CONNECTION.
Search for: Schell Dental Ceramics
You will see:

CONNECT
The Lab will accept the connection , refresh your screen.
Login to your Trios, choose CONNECTIONS and put in your new username and Password for 3Shape Communicate and test connection.
Schell Dental Ceramics will appear and can be chosen as a lab in the prescription form.
To keep track of your cases remotely, download the 3Shape Communicate app from the App Store, login with your credentials.
There are two ways to upload STL files to Schell Dental:
1- Export STL FILES from iTero through Schell Web Portal.
After scanning U and L arches, Open “ Welcome to My Aligntech” website and login.
Choose patient. Once the file has been sent to Aligntech:
Open the file ( click number far left )
Opens site
Exports a few ways , choose “open shell“
Choose “Two files ( arches oriented in occlusion )”
Name the files with patients last name
Exports to local PC.
Login to Portal at Schelldental.ca , click on SUBMIT RX and upload the STL files . If you require a username and password call the lab (250) 861-3333

Select Option 1
Request that Schell Dental Ceramics be added to your Scanner lab options. To identify our lab use the email: __________________________________
After the lab has been added and accepted, restart your IOS and choose Schell Dental Ceramics as your lab.
The files will arrive at Schell Dental in about 24 hours if submitted this way.

Carestream CS 3600
Create an account at CS Dental Connect
When you have completed a scan of a patient in the Carestream Software, lunch the CS Connect software and choose Schell Dental Ceramics
The lab email account is set up under email : _________________________________
Create your Omnicam Account at Sirona Connect on your scanner.
Send a case, launch Sirona Connect.
Search for Schell Dental Ceramics.
FIND
ADD
Omnicam
Medit
Log in to www.meditlink.com with the administrator account.
Go to Partners on the left menu.
Search for the lab that you wish to make a partnership with.
- You can search for Schell Dental Ceramics by entering our lab name or enable SHOW MAP and it will show results from 5km to 1000km away.
Locate the lab, and click the Request Partnership button. Check the partner’s terms & conditions, and click the Confirm button.
You will see that the lab has been added to the Partners > My Partner List with the status reflected as Partnership Pending.
- The “Partnership Pending” status will be changed to “Partnership” when the lab accepts the request.
If your scanner is not listed but can export an STL file, these can be uploaded through our Schell Web Portal. If you require login credentials, please call the lab.
