3D Printing

Lab Printing Technology

With digital cases coming in more frequently, 3D printing models have been a great way to add an extra quality to our restorations. When a digital case is received, the restoration is designed immediately. Alongside this, a model is printed. This ensures that once the tooth is milled and finished, we can test it for fit in a physical model. Though 3D printing in dentistry is still in its infancy, Schell Dental plans to continue using and improving the technology as it grows.

Form2

Though we started with a perfactory Micro, the Form2 quickly became our stable printer. With this printer we are able to produce dental models for use with any case when ensuring the quality of a restoration. As new materials become available, we are also finding that there is a future in temporary restorations, nightguards, deprogrammers and more coming.
