SCHELL LEARNING CENTRE
SCHELL LEARNING CENTRE
The Schell Learning Centre is a unique, dental community learning environment, dedicated to the advancement of lifelong education opportunities for practicing dentists, specialists, teams, and ultimately their patients.
Our goal is to develop and evolve relevant, high-value programs, events and a spirit of knowledge-sharing, to significantly enhance professional capabilities and career aspirations.
The combination of empirical and hands-on training by industry experts creates a culture of trust, respect and personal fulfillment.
Innovation, curiosity, collaboration and meaningful outcomes define the Schell Learning Centre’s core values.
For over a quarter of a century, Schell Dental has enjoyed the gift of teaching, mentorship and encouragement from our clients and industry colleagues.
This has led us to create the Schell Learning Centre; a vibrant gathering place, designed for and inspired by our clients.
In 2020 nutooth was formed. nutooth is Schell Dental Ceramics fully modeless and digital division, which allows for an extremely quick turnaround (next day) of restorations and implant retained restorations for digital dentists.
The benefits associated with nutooth are numerous and provide a wide range of workflow and financial enhancements (see case study on Schell dental/nutooth website).
nutooth clients are provided with training and first line support, including the opportunity to access and try leading IOS devices prior to any purchase commitments. This allows Schell clients to choose the scanner that best suit their practice needs.
Requests for digital scanner training and support have been consistent and have led to the development of a range of training programs and events. In 2022, the Schell Learning Centre will launch its proprietary CDA Curricula, a multi-level series of training modules to elevate the skills and capabilities of dental teams. This program and its content will add considerable value to practice performance and individual career opportunities.
Also in 2022, the Schell Learning Centre will roll out Study Clubs. New dentists and associates who are interested in expanding their knowledge and accelerating their career growth can benefit from our study clubs. Hosted monthly, these study clubs allow dentists to share knowledge with their peers in the community.
Throughout 2022, the Schell Learning Centre will also be announcing events featuring a unique range of topics presented by leading edge experts.
In 2021, Schell constructed an on-site, state of the art operatory. Adjacent to the lab, the Schell Operatory is accessible to our client base who wish to utilize it for any specialized hands-on off-site procedures, training, and video sessions.
There is no charge for using the operatory and the services of the lab itself are immediately available.
OUR PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS
Schell Learning Centre and hands on Schell Operatory would not be successful without the partnerships we have developed over many years. Dentist specialists and dental companies such as Argen, Nobel Biocare, Straumann and Dentsply Sirona, have partnered with us to create knowledge sharing opportunities for our high-performance client base.
Schell is committed to giving back to the community. If you have a pro bono case you wish to complete in our Operatory, we would be happy to discuss further with you.
Being a client of Schell Dental allows you to enjoy the skills and service of an industry leading dental lab, as well as the incremental and dynamic advantages of a service provider, whose commitment is to support our clients, their growth goals and agendas.
New events will be posted on the events page of our website as they are announced at www.schelldental.ca and www.nutooth.ca.
Existing clients of Schell or nutooth will receive emails announcing events.
