Response has been very strong to our Study Club and while we thought a women’s focus was a logical starting point, interest in our program knows no gender boundaries, so all dental professionals, come, one and all.
The study club began to allow dental team, a huge majority of them being women, to attend an event focussed on advancing their education with a focus on Technology, without having to leave the Okanagan Valley.
As technology in dentistry is changing at such a rapid pace, the dental team may find the navigation challenging and intimidating. One day your job is to focus on patient care , chairside assisting for all procedures, xrays and presenting treatment plans. The next day your job has transformed to chairside milling expert, digital impression specialist, 3D printing facilitator and CAD CAM designer.
It was our goal to assist in this transition prior to the change occurring in your practice. We also offer monthly intraoral scanning training at Schell Dental to allow dental team to become digital impression specialists in anticipation of a digital impression system being purchased.
